Emily Storms spends her days as a 5th grade teacher in San Francisco’s Mission District. She is also a freelance writer and curriculum designer for eSpark & CTR.
Emily worked in journalism, marketing, and event planning before going into education. She still uses those skills outside her classroom as a freelance writer, website manager, and social media consultant.
When she’s not lesson planning or listening to the jokes of 10-year-olds, you can probably find her at the library or The Ruby. She is passionate about diverse books, educational equity, and storytelling. In her free time, Emily’s current projects include Spanish conversation classes and teaching herself to sew!
